Our academy policy is for all children to wear uniform. We think uniform not only looks smart but also helps children to concentrate on what really counts – learning something new every day.

Girls:

  • Royal blue sweatshirt
  • Grey or black skirt or trousers
  • White polo shirt
  • Grey or white socks or tights
  • Black shoes or smart black trainers (if wearing black trainers, there should be no visible insignia or colours)

Boys:

  • Royal blue sweatshirt
  • Grey or black trousers
  • White polo shirt
  • Grey or black socks
  • Black shoes or smart black trainers (if wearing black trainers, there should be no visible badge or colours)

PE kit:

  • Plain white T-shirt
  • Black shorts or leggings
  • Trainers
  • Hoodies, brightly coloured trainers and jean type trousers are not accepted as school uniform

Hair:

  • Long hair should be tied back with a hair bobble. Extreme hairstyles are not acceptable in school. This includes brightly coloured hair and patterns shaved into hair.

Jewellery:

On Health & Safety grounds, children are not permitted to wear jewellery to school apart from a watch & stud pierced earrings We ask children to remove these during PE lessons, or if they cannot be removed, to cover them with a plaster brought from home. Alternatively, earrings could be removed by parents during the evening before a PE lesson.
