Governors play a very important part in the life of our academy – they are like the board of directors at a company. They meet at least once a term to ensure the academy is running smoothly and properly. They will hold our head and senior leadership team to account to ensure they are providing the best education and caring environment for all our children.
There are different types of school governor:
- Parent governors
- Staff governors
- Community representatives
- Trust Representatives
Parent governors have a child at the academy and are elected by the other parents.
If you would like to find out more about becoming a governor at North Walsall Primary Academy or have any questions for the board of governors, please contact the chair, Mrs Morris, through the academy.
